GCBC
27th Church Anniversary Celebration
During the month of February, we will be celebrating our 27th Church Anniversary. Each family is asked for $150 sacrificial offering. You may start your sacrificial offering today leading up to the Culmination Service on February 26th. This will be a time to celebrate God’s abundant goodness and acknowledge how we have been blessed and have grown as a family.

Men’s Ministry
The Men's Ministry is sponsoring a Family Movie night on Friday, February 3rd. We will be showing the movie, "Courageous". We will serve a light snack from 6:30-7pm with the movie beginning immediately afterwards. Don't miss this free family date night. For more information, please contact Rev. Young Adult Choir

Seasoned Saints Ministry

Media Ministry
It’s a new year!! Looking to work in ministry? The media ministry needs volunteers. Ages 12 years and up are welcome. For more information, contact Rev. John Carter at 817- 346-1869 ext . 1023. We will train.

Educational/Scholarship Ministry
Great Commission Baptist Scholarship Committee extends an invitation to all GCBC High School Seniors and their parents to attend our first scholarship meeting. This informational meeting will take place Monday, February 6th, at 7:00 p.m. here at the church. During this meeting we will be discussing the requirements to apply for the GCBC 2012 Scholarship Awards . We look forward to your attendance at this meeting.
Church Office Close
The Church Office will be closed on Wednesday, February 15th and Thursday, February16th due to staff training.

Seasoned Saints Ministry

Adopt-A-Street Certification Training
If you have not been certified for the Adopt-A-Street cleanup, you will have an opportunity to become a certified member of this Faith in Action (FIA) project. You must be certified to participate. The certification training will be Sunday, February 12th after morning worship for 45 minutes in the Bridal Suite. Sign-up in the Gym after morning worship today. For more information, contact Sis. First Friends Ministry
The First Friends Ministry will have its first meeting of 2012 on Saturday, February 4th at 10:00 a.m.—11:00 a.m. We are looking for men and women 18 years and older. Education Tour 2012
The DC Educational Tour 2012 is in full effect and the April 1 deadline is fastly approaching. Please continue to make your payments each month. There will be a representative in the Foyer every 4th Sunday to collect your payments. Please don’t forget to bring a copy of your report card each and every month. Youth Ministry
Youth/Parents: The Youth Ministry is putting on our 2nd College/Career Fair on Saturday, February 18th from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Some of the colleges and universities that will be presented are TCU, SMU, Texas Tech, Southern University, Texas Southern, Grambling State, Prairie View and many others. You will also get an opportunity to learn about scholarships, jobs, and internships. You don’t want to miss this event, and don’t forget to bring your friends. Parents are also invited to attend because there will be a class on “How to pay for college with financial aid, grants, and scholarships”. There will be a light breakfast served as well as lunch. Youth in grades 8th through 12th are eligible to attend this FREE College/Career Fair. Sign-ups will be in the Gym after morning worship. For more information, contact Rev.
