OneCanIcan

Every Sunday the Food Pantry Ministry will have “OneCanIcan”.  Everyone (member, nonmember, guests, and visitors) will have the opportunity to help with providing food for the less fortunate by bringing one can good. Place your can-good in the “onecanIcan” bins located at any entrance.

Items for the month are:

November 10th Spaghetti, spaghetti sauce, dry beans, rice

November 17th Peanut butter, jelly, soup, grits

November 24th Can chicken, spam, beef stew, tuna fish, spinach, cereal

Angel Tree

The 2019 GCBC Angel Tree kick-off is today! Please stop by the Angel Tree table after church in the Foyer to select an angel. Please be a blessing this Christmas, by helping an incarcerated parent give gifts to their child/children this holiday season! When you select an angel, you are agreeing to purchase a minimum $20.00 toy and a $20.00 clothing gift for that angel. Unwrapped gifts will be collected on Sundays November 17th, Novenmber24th and December 1st. If you are interested in helping with the Angel Tree program, please contact Bro. Sunday School

The Sunday School Ministry would like to invite everyone out every Sunday during Family month, the month of December from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. to attend one of the four courses that will be offered. The four adult classes will cover Faith, Family, Finance and Fitness. We have exciting teachers with a wealth of information that will be able to change the way you are living. Sunday school Teachers

Sunday, November 24th, there will be no Sunday School Classes, but there will be a mandatory Sunday School Teachers meeting from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m.

Noonday Bible Study

Due to the upcoming holidays, our last noon Day Bible study will be held on Wednesday, November 13th.

21 Nights of Prayer

Everyone is invited to come out nightly for 21 nights of Prayer. This is an opportunity to gain knowledge regarding prayer through biblical teaching. Intercessory prayer begins at 6:00 p.m. and corporate prayer “One Hour with God” begins at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 28th. We look forward to seeing you there.

Youth Christmas Fellowship

It’s time to prepare for our GCBC Youth Christmas Fellowship. All youth ages 4 thru 12 are invited to join us on Saturday, December 7th at 6:00 p.m. at House of Air Trampoline and Ninja Park, 320 E. Main St., Crowley, Texas 76036. The price for the tickets are $ 10.00 per person and it includes park admission, socks, food and drinks. All attendees must have a signed release of liability form on file in the church office. Tickets will be on sale each Sunday beginning today Thru Sunday, December 1st. Church Outing

We have a church outing Sunday, November 24th at 3:30 p.m. at Greater Saint James Missionary Baptist Church, 210 Harding St. Fort Worth, Texas 76102, and Rev. Salestirest “Les” Brewer, Pastor. Our very own Dr. Douglas E. Brown will be bringing the message. Directions will be at the Welcome Center.

Math and Reading Club

Home Away From Home Ministry

 We are requesting that all 2018-2019 College students and active Military personnel please fill out a Home Away From Home Information form. This information is needed in order to stay connected with our GCBC family members while you are away. The forms are located at the information desk and on the GCBC website. Nursing Home Ministry

We would like to invite you to come and worship with the Nursing Home Ministry as we share a word from God each Sunday from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Southwest Nursing Home and on every first and third Saturday at Wedgwood Rehab Center. The Food Pantry G.C.B.C.

Food Pantry hours are Tuesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

If you would like for your birthday or anniversary to be announced during that month, please call Sis. Marilyn Johnson, at 817-346-1869, extension 1002 to give your information for the following month. The deadline is the 3rd Sunday of each month before the month of your birthday or anniversary.
