Church Family,

As we are all concerned about COVID-19, we are doing our best to keep everyone healthy and safe in our worship place, while minimizing the disruptions to our operations. We are closely monitoring the situation. We understand the current outbreak is worrisome. Please know, Great Commission is praying for our nation, government leaders, communities, health care workers, first responders and each of you.

If you or you know someone that is affected and needs prayer, counseling, food or just a listening ear, please have them contact Sis. Marilyn Johnson at (817) 346-1869 ext. 1002. She will direct them to the proper personnel.

While we are planning worship services through social media, let’s use this as an opportunity to be a light in this dark situation. Due to COVID-19, all services have been limited. Therefore, our services will only be “Live Streamed” on Sunday at 10:00 a.m., until further notice. You can tune in to the service by going to the GCBC Website and clicking on the “Watch Live” button. Let’s do what pleases GOD and brings HIM glory. Let’s worship HIM for his love, grace and sacrifice.

Also, let’s worship HIM through giving. You may give through the following:

Lastly, during this trying time, let’s stay connected. Social Media has become a necessity for us, in today’s world. Leaders and members, communicate with one another through phone calls, emails and texting. If you need to correct your phone number or email address, you may do so online or contact Sis. Betty Gilmore at receptionist@gcbcftw.org.

Sincerely,

Dr. Douglas E. Brown, Pastor/Teacher                      Charlotte Humphrey/Church Administrator
