We believe in one God, eternally existing in one essence, yet co-equal persons, the Father, son and Holy Spirit. God is the Creator and ruler of heaven and earth.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of the living God and is co-equal with the Father. He was both fully man and fully God. He was born of a virgin and lived a sinless life. He voluntarily gave his life by His substitutionary death on the cross for our sins. He died, was buried, and on the third day God resurrected him from the grave with all power in His hands.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He continually dwells in the believer from the moment of his/her spiritual birth and seals them until the day of Jesus Christ’s return.
Mankind was created in the image of God, sinned, and thereby incurred not only physical death, but spiritual death. Mankind was created to worship God. In order for this to happen, mankind must have a regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit. This connects us in relationship and fellowship with God.
We will exist eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God, through salvation. To be eternally separated from God is to live eternally, in Hell. To be eternally in union with God is to live with Him in heaven forever.
Salvation of mankind is wholly a work of God’s free grace and not the work, in whole or in part, of human works or goodness or religious ceremonies. God imputes His righteousness to those who have put their faith in His son, Jesus Christ and Him alone, and thereby justified them by their faith.
The Bible is God’s Word to all people. It was written by human authors under supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is the truth without any mixture of error.
